Community Collaboration Leads to Quick Therapy Pool Refilling at The Aquatic Center

We want to give a huge shoutout to the Hood River Fire Department for helping us fill our therapy pool this morning! With their support, we filled the 30,000-gallon pool in under an hour. While the pool is now filled, we still need to test the chemicals and heat it up before it’s ready for use, which we expect to happen by Thursday. In the meantime, the recreation pool is open for lap swimming and all scheduled activities continue as planned. Stay tuned for more updates on the therapy pool's opening!

Update on Therapy & Wade Pool Closures

The wade pool is also closed due to issues with the connected drainage systems. We expect to receive replacement parts early next week. Once they arrive, we will install them, refill the pool, and heat it back to the usual temperature range of 90-92 degrees. If everything goes as planned, both pools should be fully operational by Monday February 17th.

Thank you for your patience! We will keep you updated.
