League Mission

Administer, develop and promote participation in adult kickball within the local community and the state, through a safe and positive playing experience at a competitive level. 

HOOD RIVER ADULT KICKBALL LEAGUE

The Adult Kickball League will be managed by Hood River Valley Parks + Recreation District.

LEAGUE OVERVIEW

  • This league will operate as an “Open League” which means you can build your team roster as you’d like (mix of genders, all one gender, etc.)

  • Each team will play 7-8 season games

  • Playoffs will be a single game elimination tournament

  • Game days will be: Mondays and Fridays

Game Locations

Hood River Port Marina Green (and other locations as necessary)

ROSTERS + ELIGIBILITY

  • Rosters must include 10 to 20 eligible players.

  • Players must be 17 years of age or older and finished with high school.

  • All players must be added to the team roster

  • A player can ONLY be registered on one Hood River Parks + Recreation District Adult Kickball team.

  • Roster checks: All players must have photo ID at all games. Players found not to have ID will not be eligible to play in that game.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Team Registration opens: Wednesday, July 2nd

  • Submit Final Rosters by Monday, Sept 8th (at Team Manager meeting)

  • Team Manager meeting: Monday, Sept. 8th at Volcanic Bottle Shoppe, 5:30 pm 

  • First practices: Friday, September 12th      

  • First games: Monday, Sept. 15th  

  • Tentative Playoff game dates: Fri, Oct 10th + Mon, Oct 13th

TEAM REGISTRATION

  • Registration fee $ 620 per team

  • League fees cover direct costs that include umpires, game balls, scorebooks, awards and game supervisors

Register Your Team - Follow these Steps:

  1. Team Managers download and complete the Team Roster-Waiver

  2. Team Managers collect fees from players

Pay Your Team Registration Fee - 2 Options:

  1. Pay on-line with a credit card/debit card

  2. Pay in-person with check, cash or credit card at the Hood River Aquatic Center ($720)

    • Monday - Thursday 10 am - 4 pm

TEAM MANAGERS  

  • Represent/participate the team in league meetings (in-person or virtual), 

  • Respond and attend to league communication (email, text, phone calls), 

  • Communicate to team members about practice/game schedules, 

  • Maintain records for the team (scores, wins-losses, etc.) and

  • Communicate team concerns to Parks and Recreation staff

FREE AGENTS

Free Agent Registration

  • If you don’t have a team, you can still sign up!

  • Free Agents will be placed onto a team together

  • Players will need to elect a Team Manager to represent them at team meetings/vote on league rules/other decisions as needed.

Register as a Kickball Free Agent ($70/player)
